PuppiesUpdate 21st October, 2008 Our puppy plans for miniature xolos have changed radically today after a visit to the vetenerian with Halla today. During the last few months, we've noticed a slight limp sometimes when Halla walks, and decided to have her checked up. Unfortunately, the news were not very good. Even though Halla's knees were checked at the age of 1, the situation had changed and her knees could longer considered "healthy". Fortunately, the situation is repairable with surgery to provide Halla a change for a normal life with no problems. Due to the highly hereditary nature of knee problems, we have decided that Halla will never have puppies as her knee problems would most likely be inherited by the puppies. We feel that breeding Halla would be irresponsible and would do a disservice to a small breed. Copyright © Tuomas Rinta, 2003-2006
